Lasermarked Labels

Since 20 years we have been solving problems of identification and traceability with labels, which are falsification-proof and personalized –engraved – by laser-beam. It is a polyacrilic film which was developed by TESA (Beiersdorf Hamburg) exclusively for the Lasertechnology and consist of double-layered, highly polymerised, dimensionally stable acrylic foil.

They can be programmed with variable data , like progressive or casual numbering, with or without barcode, with or without company-logo, in any chosen dimension and in different colours.

Even very small lots can be produced quickly and at low cost. Cutting and engraving of the labels are achieved by laser-beam in one step at high speed.

This high-tech product is the result of applied laser-technology on an extremely qualified foil developed in long research particularly and exclusively for engraving by laser-beam.

Technical specification of the labels

The label is resistant for long periods with a practically unlimited life-time, even being exposed for years to weather and different climatic conditions.

  • It is not removable without destruction of the label
  • Can not be falsified or manipulated 
  • All data engraved by laser-beam remain legible for a period of 10   years, guaranteed by the supplier, for all barcodes (including bidimensional Datamatrix)
  • Very resistant against mechanical and chemical loads, abrasion, thrusts and  against thermal influence
  • Resistance to temperatures between  -50°C and  +200°C, also for longer periods.

The label cannot be removed due to the characteristics of the high-performance acrylic adhesive. 24 hours after application of the label to the surface,  its adhesive power is superior to the internal strength of the foil. The label is being destroyed completely when an attempt is made to remove it.

In Germany, country of origin of this product, its application is regulated by specific norms and certified by authentications for important sectors such as the automobile-industry (Daimler-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi etc.) or for the Armed Forces (DIN 30646, DIN 52346 and others)
